Featuring the track Less Is More from my recent classical project Elements Of Change. Current Projects Elements Of Change has now been expanded to an 11 track album and will soon be available via Itunes, Napster and more online stores. Further information and purchase links will be added soon. I'm also working on producing and writing with band members on a project that will be created to be taken out as a Live set. Its very early stages both in terms of sound & ideas, but things are progressing well. All will be revealed in due course and will take up most of my time for the next few months. Finally I'm also working on 2 new tracks for my Bubble Boy project as part 4 of the series. This time experimenting with a much harder progressive tech sound, again all updates on this will be posted soon. Well, busy on & off so here goes. I've recently got involved with a band The Kulucci March who are currently working on a debut album and starting to get more promotion. So far I have helped mix and master existing recordings, adding some additional parts and also helped in part with some structure of existing and newer material, all of which can be found on their Myspace page. I've just finished editing and mixing down the audio and video recorded at the bands recent self promoted gig "Boys On Film". With images and artwork to accompany the whole thing from live shots to studio footage and band profile images. For further updates, video and all images, plus the band progress you can check the main Myspace page and also Facebook. One more update is the recent release of DJ Para's - Smack My Pitch Up CD. A pure cut and paste blend up, which includes a final 6 min section on the CD "Dig & Play" produced by myself with my own beat production / break samples and dug out loops spliced together, with Para on the cuts. There's also a sneaky blend of an older track of mine layered somewhere within the mix entitled "Brave Free" .. (something made a few years ago). Speaking of all things Beats and Hip hop I'm still working under a different name on some beats and tracks and collaborations (to be added soon) plus some outstanding D&B / Dub Step ideas are flowing. The first 2 track release is strictly for the originators including Freak 2000 a pure acid track, complete with original bpm's and plenty of squelch. Track 2 Ess-O1ne (pronounced 'Ess One') is a dedication the the early UK bleeps movement. Further information, audio clips and order links can be found in the music section of this site. I've also recently added some un-released tracks to my Myspace page. These can also be streamed at better quality in the "un released material" section at Last FM. 1. Find Your Feet is a funk/rock based tune. 2. Dig & Play - is a cut & paste Hip-Hop track that's to be released on DJ Para's own mix CD. This is yet to be released, more details will be added here with updates and links. Currently I'm working on some projects outside of my own music which is the focus for now. Updates will be a little scarce for a while as a result. I've now added a remix & collaboration section to the site which is a place for any links to clips, artwork and descriptions for completed projects of that nature. So far 2 new tracks have been added. Relent - This Era - Remix and a collaboration track with artist and songwriter Jools called - Song For Bo. Both are available for FREE download. After reaching my bandwidth limit all direct download files from this site / Rapidshare require a code to grab the file(s). It's a simple process of selecting "free" from the Rapidshare page, wait for the code to be displayed, then enter the code into the box and then click to receive the file to download. I've decided to clear out the standard format with music creation on a track-by-track basis and go for a free form open ended approach. Taking influences from cut & paste type mixes the end result will be a free flowing blend of all manner of musical styles (no particular boundaries) in one complete collage of sound. Being sick of pigeon holes, standards and formats I just want to take everything I can throw at it and keep standards to a minimum. This will be a little more dance floor based compared to Various Works - Volume One it will be very interesting to see where it leads as things progress. More updates will be posted here regarding this project with audio clips, plus more Pod Cast audio to be upped fairly soon.
